Whoa, it's been two weeks since I posted last. Been pretty busy. We've had a long going on. A couple of weeks ago, Kaleb had to go back to Missouri for a couple of days to sort some of his dad's things out. That same weekend I had Abe's basketball game, a primary teacher inservice planned, church meetings, and a "Stampin' it up" party. Luckily Alan was here and able to watch the kids a little. The next weekend, we had our Primary Activity Day, another basketball game, and Abe's friend's birthday party all on Saturday. Then on Sunday Kaleb traveled to Liberal for ward conference. Once again, Alan saved me by coming and helping get the kids ready for church.
Alan moved last Friday. They're in a pretty nice house. It has been gutted and rebuilt on the inside, and looks brand spankin' new. Heather is coming tomorrow morning with Preston and Gracie and her mom, Helen. I am getting so excited to see her and have her living in the same town!
Oh, also this week I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and weighed in. I have lost 20 lbs since the beginning of January! Although part of that is due to the fact my thyroid medicine was so high I was feeling jittery and getting heart palpatations. OOOPS! I'm off it for awhile. But I'm glad for the weight loss!
Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby in Dodge City with a friend of mine and her two kids. She has a little girl Lucy's age. Those two girls had a ball! I got some fabric to make Lucy a hopefully cute easter dress and some other things to decorate the kids' rooms. So now the kids' rooms will look really nice, but unfortunately, our room is still sporting the chic ghetto style with sheets as window coverings. Oh well!
I also want to congratulate my sister Jessie on purchasing their first house. From the pictures it looks like a pretty nice first house! They got a great price on it, especially for Florida, even here for that matter! Congratulations!!!
