Dad's visit

AAAAAArgh! I am so frustrated with this blog thing! I just lost a whole post with video and pictures because I clicked on the wrong button! So I'll write it again, but shorter.

Last Saturday my dad and stepmom came to visit. It was nice to see them. We just kind of hung out here at the house. My dad had a new camera and took some videos.

This video is of Lucy figuring out this shape sorter in record time. For being barely two, we were all very impressed that only after a day of playing with it she had it figured out. Wow.

Saturday night my dad and stepmom took us out to eat at the Pho Hoa, the Vietnamese restaurant in town. It was fabulous! We ordered tons of food and managed to eat it all. Sunday we went to church and then came home and hung out some more. They left Monday morning.

This week I've been fighting a cold. Cy and Lucy have also caught it. Poor Alan, who is living here at the moment has also caught it. Lucky him! He started work at the fire department this week. He was VERY happy to be working finally. I found out yesterday that Heather is joining him at the end of February. Yay! I'll be very happy to have her here!

Tomorrow Abe has his first basketball game so I'll try to remember to bring the camera. That's all for now. I might try and add some pics. too
