Growing, Growing, Growing

At each child's birthday we measure all the kids on a wooden bunk bed ladder we have. We finally got around to doing it this evening. It was boggling to see how much each of them have grown. Lucy has grown the most this past year at about 5 inches. Cy grew only slightly less than 5 inches. Abe grew about 4 inches. Although, I have a feeling by the time he's eleven I will be looking him straight in the eyes, if he's not taller than me!!!! Cy, surprisingly measured, about an inch taller than Abe was at the same age. I don't think any of our kids will be short in stature, though. Kaleb's height gives them all a boost. Thank goodness!!! Although, I would love them tall or short. In fact, it would be nice to have at least one kid I won't have to look up to when they're eleven years old!!!!
