I stole this idea from a blog that I came upon while blog surfing. I had all the kids take their toys to their beds and took pictures of them all with their loot! (I had them hold up their fingers for how old they are, which only worked for the older two! ha ha) This Christmas was a pretty good one. We had our big Christmas meal last night, and then this morning the kids were up bright and early ready to open presents. They were all pretty grateful for their presents (which warms a mom's heart!!). Abe even gave me a huge hug for the new video games he got!! Cy, who had asked for an ipod (something I'm morally against!), was over the moon about the telescope Santa brought him (get it, "over the moon"?). Santa also brought Lucy a Barbie "Three Musketeers" dress along with a cape, and Kate got a gloworm and a pull-along telephone. After the present-palooza we had the most delicious breakfast casserole (the best I've ever made!!) Then I told the kids they could have anything they wanted to eat until dinnertime. I put out a veggie tray around lunchtime, and we all munched on that, along with cookies and candy!! Everyone kind of just hung out, playing video games, drawing, (Cy built a volcano that my grandma sent him!!), and just playing with toys until dinner, when I reheated last night's leftovers. It was a perfect day!!
