Abe's grand performance

Abe has been playing piano for about three years and has really improved since he started.  Today, his piano teacher, who also happens to be the music coordinator for our ward, asked him to play a musical number for sacrament meeting.  He played, "We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet" out of the simplified hymn book.  He had practiced for at least a month before so he was pretty ready.  I could tell he was really nervous, because he couldn't stop smiling.   When it was time to play his peice he got up from his seat in the congregation and was grinning and blushing from ear to ear.  It was so cute!  Then he took his seat at the piano and began playing.  He did such a wonderful job!!  And I would say that even if I weren't his mom!!  He played it beautifully through two times.  I think I only heard one mistake, but like a pro, he just kept going!!!  I was so proud of him!!!  When he sat down he was also grinning from ear to ear again, except I'm pretty sure it was from a little bit of self-pride in his accomplishment and a whole lot of relief that it was over!!!
