Marathon weekend
Whew!! I made it through the weekend! Saturday morning we decided to have a garage sale and sell our washer and dryer and some of the boys toys (They have waaaaay too many!). Kaleb and I stayed up late Friday night sorting through stuff and pricing. Saturday morning we woke at the crack of dawn and set up. We live on a pretty busy corner so we didn't do an ad in the paper. We had a decent turnout and over the course of two hours made over $100. Not too shabby. Some of that was the washer and dryer sale. My mom and her husband were supposed to come into town around 12 or 1 so after the garage sale we cleaned the house and then found out they weren't coming until 4, which thankfully gave me time to shower and take a short nap. Then we went grocery shopping and out to eat and then home where my brother and his family came over for awhile. After they left I had to do more grocery shopping and prepare my sharing time lesson for Sunday. I finally went to bed at around midnight. Sunday Kaleb had to be at church early at 8 and I had to be there at 9 so I hurriedly fed the kids breakfast and got them mostly dressed and got myself dressed and headed to church. Thank goodness my mom was here. She was able to finish getting the kids ready and brought them at 10 for Sacrament Meeting. My niece Grace was blessed during Sacrament meeting. She is such a cutie!!! All of Heather's family (my sister-in-law) came and then after church we went over to their house for dinner. It was a huge spread!! We came home around 6 and fed the kids some cookies that grandma left them. Lucy also had olives. Gotta get those vegetables in! It was nice to sit and relax after they went to bed!
