Potty talk

Yesterday was a momentous day in our household. Lucy sat on the potty! She didn't actually do anything in the potty but this is a major development. Previously, she refused to even sit on it. Wednesday night we put her in underwear and she stayed dry all night. (She's done that before) Thursday (yesterday) morning she wanted to keep them on but she totally refused to even sit on the potty so I put a diaper on her (she was not happy!) When she did eventually pee we were at Walmart and she peed so much it soaked through her pants (lovely!). We got home and she decided she wanted to sit on the potty (yay!) so she sat, and nothing came out, but I let her wear her underwear. She stayed dry until about 5 when she was outside (thank heavens!) and peed again in her pants. But then she went directly to the potty (albeit a little late lol). So I let her keep the underwear on, and then after she was done with dinner she went to "wash her hands" and we found her about five minutes later with a very heavy pair of underwear and doing the "i just pooed my pants" walk. I so generously let Kaleb clean her up. By that time enough laundry had piled up that I decided it was time for a diaper. I know, I'm weak. Today she sat on the potty a couple of times unasked, so I definitely think that potty training is going to happen soon (hopefully!!!!!!)
