Our little girl made an early appearance on October 6 at 7:36 am via c-section. She weighed in at a slight 6 lbs 11 oz and measured in at 19 inches. She's a petite little girl!! Although she does have the Kentner big feet and the characteristic Kentner finger toes! We finally decided on a name, too: Kate Mathilda Kentner. For all those who don't like it, have your own baby!!! We think it's a perfect fit. So far she really likes to sleep and make dirty diapers. Kate also has a very healthy set of lungs when provoked. In fact, she came out screaming at the top of her lungs (it was cold in the room, who can blame her!)
Abe, Cy, and Lucy are definitely enjoying their new "toy". They love taking turns holding her and are all adjusting pretty well. We were released from the hospital on Wednesday morning and have enjoyed being at home. I'm still pretty sore from the c-section and a little loopy from the pain medication, but pretty happy!! It might be a while, though, before I post again!!

I think the name is super cute! I'm glad to hear you're doing pretty well. We'll be out of town this weekend but I'll come see you next week.
