This last week was a busy and stressful week!! It was one of those weeks where I really just wanted it to be over with and move on to the next week. Of course it culminated in Halloween night, which sadly I have come to despise. It just seems like Halloween is stretched over the whole month of October and it consists of having to dress up a lot and then the kids pigging out on candy (the whole month). And there's really no purpose in Halloween, it's not like Christmas or Easter or even Thanksgiving, where there is a beneficial reason to celebrate the holiday. Anyways, enough of my belly-aching, and on to the festivities. I do have to admit I love seeing how cute my kids look in their costumes!! The weather actually cooperated this year and we stayed out until about eight when a couple of my ghost and ghoblins got the grumpies and we decided to head in. They actually didn't accumulate that much candy, although they didn't realize it (hopefully they won't read this blog post!!)
Kate, my little angel, in her last minute $3.00 supermarket costume. I felt bad that I really didn't have a costume for her (poor 4th kid!!) so I went out and bought her a costume at the store across the street.
Lucy, in her pretty fairy princess costume. It's actually one of her dress-up costumes that she plays in, but she wanted to wear it for Halloween this year too!!
