Hopefully this week won't be the one I take up drinking! Thanksgiving is always a two edged sword for me. We always spend it with Kaleb's family (at least 12 out of the past 13 years). I like and get along with most of them individually, but when they get together it can all be a little too much. One year, previous to my joining the family, there was actually a physical confrontation and it wasn't even between the guys, it was his mom and his sister-in-law.
Somehow in such cramped quarters (a mansion could be considered cramped quarters with the forty people in his family that come) small things, like a baby crying or a tif over a movie, blows into gargantuan proportions that results in shouting and people stomping out of rooms. I have a feeling that tensions are going to be running high this year as his dad's estate has finally entered probation. I am going to just try and keep my cool, keep my head down, and spend some time cruising around town. Pray for me :)

Hopefully, it doesn't come to this!!

I understand...only sometimes it's my own family. Add twenty to forty extra people to any situation. Stir and set to simmer and someone is going to say something that will start something bigger.
Good Luck
Does any of Kaleb's family read your blog? You're daring to put this in writing. Good luck!
There are a couple that very rarely visit the blog and then there are a few that I have made certain do NOT know it even exists! Hopefully it stays that way, or I might be in trouble! LOL!
Hope you survived the relatives. You got a lot more to deal with before the holidays are over..hee hee
We have joined the blogging world.
