My crazy boys

Since I did a brief post on my beautiful boys this one is going to be one on my crazy boys. And they are a little crazy, but hey, they are related to me so what else would I expect. Today in Sacrament meeting the speaker was talking to the primary kids, and she told them that they should read their scriptures. Cy was acting like he wasn't listening, but I knew he was when toward the end of her talk he pulled out my scriptures and started reading them. Only he was in the topical guide. He leans over and whispers to me "look mom, i'm reading the tropical guide" I tried to convince him it was the topical guide and not the tropical guide but he was pretty adament. This is not the first time he's gotten words confused. He's seriously convinced that the tv show, "Ripley's Believe it or Not" is "Ralphie's Believe it or Not" I think sometimes he just skims or changes the order of the letters because he's reading it too fast. Also in Sacrament meeting today he kept taking out Kate's pacifier from her mouth. He said it was poisonous and it was going to give her "duck" teeth. I don't know where he comes up with this stuff?

Abe and Cy have started a new blog, since they love reading this one. Abe really wanted to post today so I set it up for him and had him just start typing. I went into the kitchen to make dinner. He wanted me to proofread it before he posted so I came back in the office and this is what he had written.

My Life as the Oldest Kid in the Kentner Family
Since I'm the oldest I get to do the most chores which I know is pretty obvious. On Sunday I always have to help the younger kids get dressed and ready for church,+ we have to get there on time ,which is sometimes hard for us to do. This doesn't go along with the subject but I might as well say it. Yesterday I woke up at 2:00A.M. and I sat there in bed for like 2 min. then I crept out of bed and looked for something to do.I turned on the T.V. in the living room and it had a lot of light so I turned it off. Then I walked around for a couple of minutes and figured that I had nothing to do. But then I remembered I could go in the playroom and watch T.V. and thats what I did for 5 or 6 hours. Then I went to our room and woke up Cy and he watched T.V with me for another hour or so.The lucky part about it was my dad didn't come in there and put me back to bed.

I just looked at him. He was like "What?"

We might start night patrol.

We used to think we were sneaky on Saturday mornings. The rule was that we could get up as early as we wanted to watch cartoons as long as we didn't wake anyone else up. One morning I snuck upstairs at 4:30 thinking I had everyone beat. I did, but the only thing on tv was snow...for an hour and a half. I watched it diligently.

Glad to see they're keeping you on your toes!
