Plateau?? or pigout??
Tuesday night I got on the scale at Weight Watchers and was completely bummed to discover I hadn't lost ANY weight! I had actually gained .4 lbs which, honestly, I'm not that worried about it. I suppose last weekend I had a little too much fun which included a trip to IHOP and splitting a plate of Nutella crepes. Whoops, how did that get in my mouth? It wouldn't have been that bad had I not preceded that with a full plate of pancakes with butter and syrup, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Oh, and also the appetizers earlier that evening at our church dance. The next two days weren't any better. Sunday was our potluck dinner after church. I held Kate while Kaleb dished out my plate. He put what I chose to put on it but in much bigger portions than I would have chosen. (It was all his fault!!! lol) Then I made enchiladas for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed them. Monday I made lemon bars for a missionary lunch, and, dontcha knowit, missionaries obviously don't like lemon bars too much because I came home with half a pan still left. I finally exercised SOME self-control when I only ate three (okay maybe I had four!! do you want to make something of it?!!!!) Recounting all the food I ate maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised on Tuesday night? I'm definitely back on the plan though. Nothing shames you more than being one of two ladies out of a room of almost twenty that didn't lose weight (the other lady who didn't lose had a boot on her sprained ankle).
