I've almost lost it all

A couple of weeks ago I became a big loser. I hit the 50 lb weight loss mark!!! FINALLY!!! I am still about three pounds away from my goal weight. Although that might change. I think I might want to lose more, though? Right now I'm nursing so I get about seven extra points (one point equals roughly 40-60 calories, depending on the fat and fiber content) so that's about three hundred extra calories. Think a Hershey's bar! A very badly needed and coveted Hershey's bar, which happens to be my favorite indulgence.

I have noticed a couple of side effects that this dramatic weight loss has produced. The first is that about 90% of my wardrobe no longer fits, which is nice that my big clothes are too big, but now that I have this smokin' hot bod (well minus the stretch marks and flabby skin, but it's all relative) I have almost nothing to wear. I've slowly started amassing a new wardrobe, piece by piece, but I'm also a clearance shopper and summer stuff has yet to go on clearance. I also live in a relatively small (isolated) town so there's not a huge megamall or a huge variety of stores within 300 miles. The other side effect which I did not expect at all is the loss of my bodonkadonk. I use to have a huge bodonkadonk even when I was skinny before, but as the weight started coming off I started to notice my fanny was slowly decreasing in size. I know most people would not be sad to have a small fanny, but I miss mine. Where did it go? If anyone knows of any exercises I can do to get it back please feel free to share as I don't think getting butt implants is really an option.

Speaking of butt sizes, I found an incredibly delicious recipe for "guiltless alfredo sauce" on my favorite website, ourbestbites.com that we tried out tonight. It's roughly 3 points per 1/4 cup serving (which is fantastic for alfredo sauce!!). AND it is absolutely to die for. Since I know most people are too lazy to link over there I'll post the recipe in it's original form (although you really should stop by the website to check out the tantalizing pictures!!)

Guiltless Alfredo Sauce

2 C low-fat milk (not skim)
1/3 C (3 oz) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese
2 T flour
1 t salt
1 T butter
3 garlic cloves
1 C grated Parmesan cheese

Toss the milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt in a blender. Process until smooth and set aside. In a non-stick sauce pan, melt butter on med-high heat and add garlic. Stand above the pan (but not close enough to scald your face) and inhale. Ahhh...butter and garlic. Okay, now get cooking again. Let the garlic saute for about 30 seconds, you don't want to burn it. It should be nice and bubbly.
Then add milk mixture to the pan. Stir constantly for about 3 or 4 minutes or until it just comes to a simmer. Keep stirring and let it cook for a few minutes more. It should be much thicker now. When it's nice and thick (it should look as thick as a normal alfredo sauce) remove the pan from the heat. Add the cheese, stir it up and then cover immediately. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before using. It will continue to thicken upon standing. Also, if you have leftovers in the fridge, the sauce will thicken almost into a solid. Just re-heat and add a little milk and it will be back to normal again.

I plan on using the leftovers on pizza tomorrow night. Can you say yummy!!!

Congrats! That's incredible...and thanks for the recipe. Alfredo is my favorite, and I'm saving it for when Lil' Man tolerates dairy better.
