That title was an homage to the song, if anyone recognizes it? This past month and a half we have been in the thick of a whole lot of basketball playing. Both the boys wanted to sign up for basketball, and Kaleb couldn't decide on which team to coach so he chose to coach BOTH teams. Ay ya ya! So Tuesdays and Thursdays were devoted to basketball practice, and Saturdays they each had a game. Thankfully, the YMCA sports coordinator scheduled the games far enough apart that it didn't make it too hectic. Keeping Kate from running onto the court felt like trying to wrestle a greased pig, so I only went to one of their games. Cy's age group didn't keep score, but it looked like they won most of their games? Abe's was pretty good too, winning most of their games too. They both have improved so much from the last time they played, a couple of years ago.
Cy has also begun to take piano lessons with Abe's piano teacher. On Sunday during church he wrote out about four measures of music notes in his notebook, complete with finger placements. He also specified it was to be played in "c position". So I'm pretty sure he's liking learning how to play. Now I just have to get him to practice more....
