My ode to ourbestbites.com

I just updated my blog list to include ourbestbites.com which is my favoritest (I know it's not a word but "most favorite" just doesn't express the passion I feel for it) food website in the whole entire world. They have the bestest (yes, I know, not a word either but see the above explanation) food pictures and recipes. This is not one of those namby-pamby, fru fru recipe websites that posts delectable looking pictures of food, and I think I want to reproduce it in my own kitchen, until I read the long and/or exotic ingredients and/or the time consuming, detailed instructions of how to make it which brings me to the brutal realization that I will NEVER try it(at least not while I have a mountain of laundry, a limited grocery budget, and four kids). Instead, ourbestbites.com posts recipes that are totally doable and really make my mouth drool. I'm a little ashamed to admit that several times I've been reading the posted recipe and I've actually gotten a little spittle on the screen. (Was that tmi?) It is the ultimate in food porn! And you probably know by now that I am a total food porn addict. I love looking at cookbooks, or surfing the net, endlessly searching for new and exciting recipes, looking at tantalizing pictures of food, and fantasizing of how I am going to get my next "fix". So be cautioned that once you start reading this website you might become an "addict" too.
