This is an obligatory picture of our garden this year. We planted corn (that tall corn-looking plant in the back) and tomatoes (grape, roma, and some big boys), peppers (so I can make fajitas and jalapeno jelly, yummy!), cucumbers (instead of the neverending zucchini that we planted last year and still have somewhere deep down in the dark recesses of our freezer, at least I can pickle these, right?), green beans, watermelon, squash, and zinnia flowers to look pretty. Woooo, it always surprises me at how much we end up planting! Everything has done pretty good so far. We've only had one tomato plant that is about to die. Not too bad. Although, in another month I might be cursing our huge garden when I have produce running out my ears.Tuesday, July 7, 2009
