Please lie to me

This year for Christmas I've decided that I want to go a little more handmade. Most of the people I buy presents for have everything that they could possibly want. If they do want something it is WAY out of my budget! Every year I strain my brain to come up with something to give them that they 1. don't already have and 2. will actually like. Most years this is very difficult and I wait until the last minute to buy them something that inevitably fails to meet one or both of the above criteria.
This year I've decided to make their presents. There's only one problem, I'm not that creative. However, I do have the requirement that it has to be something the person will actually use and not just something pretty/quirky to look at (like the nasty clay ashtray/bowl I made in elementary school, even though none of my parents smoke or would dare eat out of an ugly clay bowl). So,if you're one of the people I'm giving a homemade gift to, just know that it took me ALOT of time and effort and I apologize if it doesn't look that great. Please just smile and lie to me that it looks great and you really love it!

You can tie fleece blankets--very easy, and everyone likes a snuggly blanket.
