I think Lucy is about ready to stop napping. The signs are all there. At "nap time" I read her a book, sing a couple of songs, and she gets into her bed and pulls the covers over herself. Then I say goodnight and close the door. About five minutes later I begin to hear loud singing coming from her room. Most of the time it is songs that she makes up herself. Sometimes she likes to make animal sounds. Once when I thought she had actually fallen asleep I heard a loud "ROOOOAAAAAAR". I heard it a couple of times more and went in to investigate. My dainty little two year old girl is standing on her bed, roaring at the top of her lungs, pretending to be a lion. Go figure.
She may be ready to stop napping but I'm still holding out. I can endure the cute songs and lion roars just a little longer.

Yeah, welcome to the no napping anymore club...haha! It's hard to figure out how to entertain them during that usual nap time....good luck!
In our family, we switch to "quiet time" at this unfortunate crossroad - and try to hang on to the whole kid-free hour or two as long as possible! Definitely milk it for all it's worth!
